Who Is Gifted Support Network?
Emily Kircher-Morris founded Gifted Support Network, a St. Charles County, Missouri nonprofit organization, in 2014. Emily is a former gifted program educator and school counselor who saw a gap between what gifted and talented kids needed, and what was actually available to them. She also saw a lack of information and resources for parents and educators of gifted children. Emily created GSN to fill that void and provide those much-needed resources through speaker events, parent support groups and enrichment classes. Emily is currently a counselor specializing in giftedness and twice-exceptional (2E) kids at Unlimited Potential Counseling & Education Center in O'Fallon. Her "Mind Matters" podcast is also a great resource for parents. She is married with three amazing gifted kiddos.

What We Do:
Our goal is to provide high-quality tools and information to the parents and educators in the St. Louis gifted community. We also provide opportunities for kids to learn and grow through our enrichment classes. Helping the people who care for our gifted kids find ways to help them reach and exceed their potential is what we're all about.
For Parents: Both understanding your gifted child, and advocating for them are extremely important concepts. Whether it's testing for a child, information on IEP's, learning about gifted programs in the area, counseling services, or just finding someone to talk to about challenges you may be facing, Gifted Support Network is here to help.
For Educators: Helping educators understand and work with gifted and high-ability children in their classrooms is also extremely important to us. That's why we offer graduate credit through Lindenwood University for our speaker events and give Educator Grants on a yearly basis. Gifted Support Network supports our educators because we know they care about the gifted community as much as we do, and we want to give them resources to provide opportunities for kids to thrive in the classroom.
